The text for this work is a “flarf” poem – taking random lines from blog posts that contain the words of a given search, in this case the phrase “it is cold outside,” and assembling them together. The overall statement of the poem is “people are overly concerned about the most trivial and silly things concerning the weather and speak about them on their blogs in a way that is beyond polite conversation about the weather.” (Shannon Rayne, poet)
This work is a tongue-in-cheek presentation of the way people complain about the weather online.
