This piece for symphony orchestra is based on the bridal march I composed for my wedding, at the request of my beautiful bride. The theme is initially presented with random sections all taken out of context and clashing with each other, symbolizing the chaotic flurry of swirling emotions (or the Jitters) experienced on one’s wedding day. Eventually the theme is presented unaltered, showing that in the end the Joys of the day win out over all the other emotions.
