Os-hyp-ti-no-ti-co (the title is a combination of the words “hypnotic” and “ostinato”) is a soft, introspective work, slowly exploring 6 different harmonies while the right hand plays a persistent ostinato in the uppermost register of the piano on the 1 common tone of the 6 harmonic sections. It was composed in 1 day when all of Victoria was shut down for a Snow Day.
